For this year’s Christmas, expect a movie to come out celebrating the holiday with a singing, inspiration, and a lot of amazing actors. Directed by Kasi Lemmons(Eve’s Bayou), Black Nativity tells the story of a street-wise teen from Baltimore who, raised by a single mother, travels to New York City to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged relatives and embarks on a surprising and inspirational journey. Released on November 27th, the film stars Forest Whitaker(Phone Booth), Angela Bassett(How Stella Got Her Groove Back), Jennifer Hudson(Dreamgirls), Tyrese Gibson(Fast & Furious 6), Mary J. Blige(Rock of Ages), Nas(Belly), and introducing Jacob Latimore(Vanishing on 7th Street). The teaser trailer for the film was recently released and Black Nativity will be a film that everyone will want to see.
